This is the first lesson to learn: be determined not to curse anything outside, not to lay the blame upon anyone outside, but stand up, lay the blame on yourself. You will find that is always true. Get hold of yourself.

Shirshasana ( Head Stand ) :: Yoga pose
Shirshasana ( Head Stand )
Along my way to achieve the perfectness in each Aasnas, I have decided to share my experiance and benifits of that pose with you guys.
Please make sure before trying any of these aasana you properly do your warm up and if you have any injuries do't even give a try :)
Some people may think what's there in the name of the Asana ?..
Trust me if you understand the real meaning of the Asana then it will be easier for you to perform and understand the benifits of the same.
Shirshasana || Shirsha - The meaning of Shirsha is Head. Assana - Stands for Pose. ||
This Asana is well know by the name Head stand.
You must have heard a story about diffrent kind of torture.
When I was growing up I heard many times that military/Polic use this technique of hanging upside down this is very similar to our head stand .
I really do't know the actal reason of using that technique but below is my guess about why they use it.
, which causes improved brain function (intelligence and memory) and increased vitality and confidence.
1. It circulation to the brain which causes improved brain function (intelligence and memory) and helps the truth come out.
2. If you are not yogi then It will make you uncomfortable and in return person will offer to break the silance and will get the sound sleep.
Bats are the only mammals which sleeps up side down. Only because their legs are not strong hence they can't stand on their legs that's why they use downward gravitational pull.
Below are some of the main benifits of Shirshasana.
1. Improves the brain function( Improved memory).
It's very obvious that if you do this pose because of gravitational force blood will flow towards your head.
2. Backpain
This Asana will make the spine allignmnet correct naturally if done correctly. Over long term it makes nervous system stronger.
There are lots of other benifits I will update this post with more benifits sometime.
There are diffrent variation of this pose the main concept stay the same.
I have been practising this Asana from last 10 days and I have reached to the level where I can stay in this pose comfortably for 10 min.
My Idea goal for this pose is to achive advance level in this pose where I can riase my head from the groud with the help of hand. ( I will be posting pic once I reach there !!! )
This Asana is also called as "Raja of the Asana" ( King of all poses) .
If you are new to this pose I would suggest to try Tripod first and slowly go towards Hand Stand. Take the support of wall if you need support but after 2-3 tries this pose will give you s much confidance that you will be able to do this with out any help.
Stay tunned for more Asana's!!

Power of word
Recently I was talking to my co-worker about his weekend plan. He told me he is going for a "Rappling" -- well I know the meaning of that world, but when I said that word there was huge difference between how I pronounced it and how my co-worker pronounced it .. but still we know what we are talking about :)
so if you know the meaning of the world then it does't matter how you pronounce it.
On other hand -- If you do't know the real meaning of the world and when you use it at wrong context or place.. trust me that will spoil your life ...
Words are so powerful and alive if you cut or use them ( even unintentionally ) they are going to bleed. Words got that power to destroy everything.
By words we learn thoughts, and by thoughts we learn life but if we use wrong words then other person is not going to learn about you or your life.
below are some of the good quotes about the word.
"Words are potent weapons for all causes, good or bad."
- Manly Hall
“Words divide us, actions unite us.”
“Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with shades of deeper meaning.”
“A bad word whispered will echo a hundred miles”
“Anger repressed can poison a relationship as surely as the cruelest words”

Becoming PM of your life using scrum !!
Some of you must be wondering what I am talking about? What is scrum ?
Little background about how I got into Scrum and got more inclined toward it ..
In my previous job we used water fall methodology for project management for the same I have gone through the Function Point training.
On my first day at current company I got introduced to "Daily Stand-up" by one of my favorite manger. Daily stand-up is part of Agile methodology. After working in agile for couple of months without much theoretical knowledge, I started comparing productivity of myself with my previous job and realized that definitely there is improvement and I am keeping track of my work in more organized way.
One day our Direct Sean who given us a training on Agile and that training was really a good turning point for me to learn more on Agile.
I will not be able to write how we use Agile in work because of "Work Ethic"..but I will try to explain it how I am trying to use it in my life.
I have considered every year as a one project. Give a meaning full name to that project e.g. My this year's project name is "Healthy and Intelligent Buddha" .. I do't know how I came up with that name.. I wanted some funny name !!!
Create a weekly iteration with 3-4 stories and every day/week visit your stories see to how much progress you have made in that. Next step is dividing each story into different task.
e.g. Below are 3 stories for of my last week iteration.
Story A - Work on Yoga balancing poses.
Story B - Increase reading.
Story C - Prepare for Wasatch Ranger Relay
Then I divided my Stories into small every day task.
e.g.
Story-A|Task 1.a - Work on getting Mayur Asana ( Yoga - Peacock pose for 2 min )
Story-B|Task 2.b - Finish E=Mc2 by David Bodanis
Story-C|Task 1.c Go for a 6 Miles of run ( AS part of Wasatch Ranger Relay)
Well long story short... I am able to get my personal goals very organized and more importantly track them properly.
I am running out of time to finish today's blog. I will be writing more on Agile/Scrum sometime next week.
I forgot to tell you guys, I have received my Scrum Master certification(CSM), but I think I have learned more about it from my Manager and Director.
ciao !!!
